I Scream! You Scream! We all Scream for Ice Cream!

OK, I am not going to lie! As you read this blog, I am probably at a water park or a theme park (I will not be riding the roller coasters thankyouverymuch). I am taking a “staycation” this week and we are planning to hit some of the hottest (sorry, bad pun, but it’s pretty hot!) summer activities Atlanta has to offer. My kids are thrilled to have mom and dad home for a week and I’m very excited, too.Since we are in full-blown summer mode, I thought I’d broach the subject of ice cream. Yes, I said ice cream. Don’t Forget Dad!

The big day to celebrate dad is approaching fast. A few weeks ago we did a quick photo shoot for the blog….you will see a few small changes to the look of the blog soon. I took my kids to Lullwater Park and they really hammed it up for the camera. They loved “going to work” with mom that afternoon. At the end of the shoot, the kids and I decided to do a really silly picture to give to dad for Father’s Day. We are excited about giving it to him this Sunday. Continue reading…

Green. Slimy. Yummy? Brussels Sprouts.

I want you to meet Chloe, she is one of the kids in our Health4Life Program. She is very talented. She loves to sing and dance and has a bubbly, infectious personality.
